New Liskeard Branch Programs and Activities:

Story time for pre-schoolers at the New Liskeard Branch Wednesday mornings from 10-10:30 a.m.

Friends of the New Liskeard Library will be holding their Annual Pay as you Please book sale during Library Week.

Cercle Litteraire ( CLUB DE LECTURE) pour les adultes.

Haileybury Branch Programs:

Special Programs:
Story hour for tots - Friday 10:30 - 11:30 am.
School classes are invited to make regular visits.
Special events for National & Provincial Book weeks.
Library cart visits the nursing homes twice a month.

Book club: Haileybury Branch meets the Third Thursday of each month at 7 p.m.

English Literacy Collection at the Haileybury Branch

The Haileybury Branch presently holds the AlphaPlus Community Literacy Collection which contains up to 200 print, audio-visual, and Web-based adult learning resources
which will be kept at the library for one year.
The topics you will find: 1) Family Literacy, First Nations, culture-based literacy, Basic reading, writing and math. 2)Life Skills: Job Readiness, Budgeting, Problem Solving, Computer skills
This collection can help you:
Improve your reading, writing, math, and computer skills
Prepare for work
Learn about your local Literacy and Basic Skills program and the free help they can give you
Take part in library and community events
Continue with your education and lifelong learning goals.

We welcome vistits from pre-schoolers and elementary classes.
