Author Book Launch
Pauline Quenneville speaks about her book, “Vérité?”
Tuesday, June 4
New Liskeard Branch: 2-4 p.m.
Haileybury Branch: 6-8 p.m.
“Vérité?” is about a small town girl trying to make it in the big city. Some of Quenneville’s own experiences moving as a young woman to work in the city of Sudbury inspired some of the adventures faced by the book’s protagonist, Monica LeBlanc.

New Liskeard Branch

Fancy Nancy Tea Party #2: On Saturday, June 1, from 1:30 – 2:30 p.m., little girls 4 to 8 years accompanied by Mom or caregiver are invited to a lovely Tea Party with delicious refreshments, Fancy Nancy stories and a craft. Jim Sargent Poetry Award presentation: At the Cobalt Public Library on Saturday, June 1, time to be announced. Prizes will be awarded to the top three contestants; everyone is invited to cheer on these young poets!
